1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Draxford Technologies Limited ("PlanFi," "we," "our," or "us"), a company registered in the Republic of Zambia, governing your access to and use of the PlanFi platform at planfi.app and all associated services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PlanFi is an AI-powered educational technology platform providing:

AI-assisted generation of lesson plans aligned with the Zambian curriculum (ECZ standards)
Lesson notes, teaching preparation materials, and study guides
Test and assessment creation tools
Activity sheets and student worksheets
Schemes of work, records of work, and weekly forecasts
PDF export and download functionality

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is designed for teachers, educators, school administrators, and educational professionals.

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You may not share, transfer, or assign your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans Free and paid tiers available with different usage limits. We reserve the right to modify plans and pricing with reasonable notice.

5.2 Payment Terms Payments processed through third-party providers including mobile money. All prices in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW).

5.3 Subscription Renewal Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Renewal reminders sent before expiry.

5.4 Refund Policy All payments non-refundable except where Service was materially unavailable or required by law. Refund requests within 7 days to support@planfi.app.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

Content generated by the Service is a starting point and professional aid, not a substitute for professional educational judgement
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or curriculum misalignment
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all generated content
We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content

As a qualified educator, you bear the professional responsibility to ensure all materials meet required standards.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
Generate harmful, abusive, or objectionable content
Attempt unauthorised access to systems
Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers
Resell or commercially exploit the Service
Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property The Service is the exclusive property of Draxford Technologies Limited, protected by copyright and trademark law.

8.2 Your Content You retain ownership of original inputs. You are granted a perpetual licence for AI-generated content for educational purposes.

8.3 Licence to Us You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process content for providing the Service. For reviews, you grant us the right to display them publicly.

8.4 Curriculum Content Property of the Ministry of Education / ECZ. Our use does not imply endorsement.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Total aggregate liability capped at 12 months of fees paid, or ZMW 500 (whichever is greater)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Draxford Technologies Limited from claims arising out of: your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, submitted content, or use of AI-generated content.

11. Termination

11.1 By You Anytime via account settings or email. Unused subscription non-refundable.

11.2 By Us Immediately for breach, fraud, non-payment, or extended inactivity. 30 days notice for full Service discontinuation.

11.3 Effect Data deleted per Privacy Policy. Export content before termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

Good-faith negotiation first (30 days), then courts. Either party may seek injunctive relief to prevent irreparable harm.

13. Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Exclusive jurisdiction of Zambian courts.

14. General Provisions

Entire agreement between parties
Severability — invalid provisions modified to minimum extent
No waiver unless in writing
Users may not assign without consent
Force majeure applies for circumstances beyond reasonable control
